Help! Last week I bought an Audi s5 with 40,000 miles on the clock (2008), for a week it was great and I was happy!
On the 8th day the clutch went! Not sure to what extent the issue is yet as the pedal has no resistance and I cannot engage a gear (so I cannot move it).
I'd like to know what my rights are! I've been told that the dealer (independent car dealership) has to offer a repair as its within 30 days and that I'm legally entitled to a refund if I want it however the dealer is not claiming any liability and is pushing warranty information my way (I do have a warranty). Am I wrong in thinking they should be coming to collect the car and taking care of the repairs at their expense!!?
Does anyone know where I stand??!! If so, if you could also comment/suggest what I should do/say
