I live in Ireland and was thinking of buying a classic Land Rover now if I was to come over to the UK and buy one and wanted to drive it home (via a ferry!) do I need to buy road tax if I am exporting it in a matter of hours??
Can I buy road tax if I am not a UK resident could not figure that out from the online registration as you need the V5 info to progress through the screens.
Any informed help would be appreciated :)
