Story so far
i was on a roundabout in correct lane indicated to exit roundabout and third party hit my rear near side
no other cars involved
stopped exchanged details
drove home reported it to the insurer
got the damage appraised ...car written off
all costs paid to me for the written off car and got a new car
10 days later had a phone call off my insurer stating they had had a phone call off the third partys insurers stating " our client tells us that a 3rd car was involved pulling out on them and they swerved to avoid it causing them to collide into you in view of the facts we will pay all your costs " without prejudice " as our client was to blame "
now i get a phone call from my own insurers saying they have changed their mind and it now appears they are claiming it was all my fault ...there was no 3rd car and i cut across lanes !
my insurers are now asking me for a detailed account which i sent months ago i just dont understand how someone can admit liability claim a 3rd car was there and then flip it all !
where do i stand legally i dont think my insurers are fighting my case its as clear as black and whit she admitted liability and now changed her mind ....
any suggestions as to the legality or anything of the above would be gladly accepted
regards kev
