Had the car for 6 years. No problems to speak of. Regular servicing - not all main dealer. 140k miles. Rattles a bit but other than that great car served me well. over the past month starting began to be hesitant. Then two weeks ago it failed to start battery flat. Jumped started and drove for about an hour daytime - so no lights or heated seats etc. Got to destination - turned car off and restarted no problem.
Due to business trip car then left for 10 days - came back flat as a pancake - again jump start all ok. Drove for 30 minutes again - this time at night so light and radio on - got to destination this time and turned car off - would not restart - completely flat.
Trotted of to Halfords and fitted a new battery - car started perfectly. Turned car off and Left it over night - lovely sunny day today - went to start car and again not enough power in the battery to fire it up.
Any one know what is going on?
I contacted my local garage and talked them through it - they said sounds like a battery drain which can be difficult to find and may need Honda main dealer diagnosis - scary thought.
So I decided to ask the clever folks on this site whom have helped numerous friends of mine thank in advance.
