Hi. I am new to this forum so please go easy on me :)
So basically the story goes last night I was out meeting a friend and I parked my vehicle on the other side of the road as we have road works outside my drive way. There was plenty of space to pass through..
This morning when I went to drive my car I noticed that my wing mirror has been taken clean off the whole of the side of my car has dents and scrapes and no one left a note..
As it was a residential street I decided to have a look around to see who done it as it's obviously someone local as it is a side road. Just as I was giving up on the search I spot a car with matching scrapes and bumps along the side and a wing mirror casing fell off.
Upon knocking on a few doors to find out whos care this was a gentlemen walked around the corner with a dog and said it was his daughters. He got his daughter to come out and I quote she said.. "I don't remember doing it" LOL seriously.
Anyway in the end we exchanged numbers with the father who know she was in the wrong and he basically wanted to sort it out privately. Although I have no problem with this only problem is my car is currently on finance and I wish to give it back next year. Now if the job isn't up to good standard (considering the damage) obviously my dealer is going to charge me for the damages.
Now after a few texts here and there (to which he even admitted liability via text) he said he was going to give the details of his daughters insurance in the morning.
This is where it gets sticky. He is also now asking for my car insurance details but as my vehicle was stationary am I obliged to do so?
I've phoned up the police and reported it as obviously she hit and run.. and also informed my insurance about this. Basically I need to wait until Monday to phone up the underwriter of the insurance.

In summary I am wondering if he doesn't give me the details tomorrow where do I go from there ? Also am I obliged to give my details?
I've taken plenty of photos and even got the casing of her wing mirror and other pieces I've picked up.
Any help would be appreciated.
