Evening all,

I had a 2006 focus 1.6tdci,engine code G8Db,in today,the car was in limp mode,

Codes P242f,Total quantity diesel additive injected in dpf filter,counter 1 permanent,

And P2459 regin frequency implausible,Ps,codes would not clear,

Had a look in live data dpf diff sensor pressure was at 5 mbar at idle and dpf temp sensor was at 250deg,

I then plugged in to the fuel additive module,no codes stored,so i checked the fuel cap and the additive level which needed a little top up, it was about 3/4 full but other than that there were no faults there either,The only way i could get the faults to clear was when i reset the learned values of the dpf,then the first fault cleared,

I then ran a full regin to clear the second code which cleared it,

The problem is after a test drive the p2459 fault was logged and more than likely the car will prob go in to limp mode again,

Are there any other sensors controlling the regin frequency? if there was a problem with additive tank or pump wouldn't it show in the module?
