Hi - I have a 2010 Honda Jazz 1.1 and since I got it back from the garage a week ago (for some unrelated work - repairing a smash windscreen) it has been making an occasional strange electronic noise when driving. It is not particularly loud and it is not consistent - seems to happen every few minutes or sometimes longer. It's a hard noise to describe, but it probably sounds most like a noise that a computer would make when it was processing. It's quite short.
So I thought 'I must try and find out what that is' and then this morning, when my wife went to start the car, it wouldn't start at all - completely dead. The lights weren't left on, so there is no reason I can think of for the battery to have died. But I wondered if it was related to the noise.
The only other point to note is that something was done to the electronics when at the garage of the car as the clock was flashing when it was returned.
