Job Redundancy and then I had a car accident, do I have a case?

Hello,
Long story short. Accident happened on 22nd Feb. I was fully stationary on a traffic light and a car hit me on the rear end, no doubt was his fault but did not accept full liability according to his insurance company.

The accident happens 3 days before my holidays and this sort of ruined my holidays as I could not do all the activities I had planned to do and travelling 60+ hours (30 hours each way) on a plane with a neck injury it is something I don't wish to anyone, especially after been told by TICCS (physiotherapist company) that my recovery might take 4-6 months!. It was too late to cancel my trip specially with the uncertainty of not getting a refund and with my partner already there in NZ.

Finally, my employer informed me on the 10th February (11 days before the accident) that my 'role is at serious risk of redundancy' . Due to my absence from office following the accident I had been unable to make a proposal to explore with my employer whether there is any options viable other than redundancy, so it seems I'm going to be made redundant this month. I'm aware that the accident itself is not causing my redundancy however has jeopardized my continuity within the company on an alternative role/project.

Is there a case for me here? Can I claim for future income loss? What sort of personal damage/injury can I claim here ?

Thanks for sharing your views :)
