I have a Vauxhall Corsa that Ive been learning in so for the past few months it has sat around a lot. On the plus side it has only done 25,000 miles. At first I had no problems whatsoever then took a long trip to York (from London) and from York to Hull etc. About 600 miles over 2 days. It now often has trouble starting, often the 3rd, 4th time of turning the ignition it will start and be fine the rest of the time the engine is running. If I stop and turn the engine off for a few minutes after the engine has warmed up, it will most likely start first time when I get back in (but not always).
I've tried replacing the battery (no better) and we've looked at the Coil Pack (I've just ordered another - it may not be that but what the heck). We put a screwdriver in the holes and it only appeared to spark on 2 of 3. But once the engine is on it doesn't cut out.
It didn't start at all this morning. And tends to be worse when it is very cold. Any suggestions?!
Thanks
