Just posting this to feedback to the RAC regarding the service the RAC provided when I had some problems with a vehicle I had purchased only 2 week prior. It all started with a low tire pressure warning on the dash. Easy to fix, pulled over to a petrol station to put some air in. Whilst putting air in, the valve stem on the tire literally fell off. It had obviously corroded over some time. Went to put the spare wheel on, locking wheel nut key is also damaged. So now I have a flat tire and no way of removing it. No option but to call RAC. From experience I know that the locking wheel nuts on Lexus are notoriously tough. Peter who attended from the RAC (breakdown number T222PG794) spent well over an hour with drills, chisels, torque guns trying to remove this locking nut. To be honest, even I had given up, and would have been perfectly satisfied if he turned around and told me it wasn't possible (even though this would mean I'd need to have been towed), but Peter was determined! Anyway long story short, he eventually removed it, after going above and beyond the call of duty. Not often people write a positive review, but I feel the service offered on this occasion warranted some positive feedback. It also made the £130 annual fee a worthwhile investment!
