last frinday 29 of january this year, I was driving and on one of the cross lights I go through on amber light, well the light changed from green to amber when I was about 2-3 meters from lights i go about 15-20 mph no chance to safety stop any way, I went through I driving very careless as I don't want any points or collision, there was police on the 2nd lane behind me they wait but when the light's change to green they catch me up again and now there is funny situation. on the next lights another driver go on red basically front of police the lights went to amber i seen that so I start braking and safety stop on the line and the 2nd driver went through red light as when he approach the lights and he was in about 0.5 m from lights they changed to red, there was camera also behind us, and now funny things is camera didn't flash police didn't react. my question is now how this is works? i was always told that when you approach junction and you see amber light and its safe to stop just stop if your stop will make an hazard for other drivers go through, on first junction I have no chance to stop safety if I will press brakes driver behind me will crash me, on the 2nd lights I saw light changed to amber which allow me to safety stop but the 2nd driver give an **** about this just went through front of police and camera. yesterday another guy when I have an green light stop just front of my car, because he get on junction on red, also cameras there haven't flash so I suppose he get to junction on amber lights, just wondering how this system works and why police not reacting
