Hi, I need some advice regarding an accident that we had on Christmas day. Our car was in the drop off lane of hotel and there was a separate lane to go into the parking. As we were getting down and my daughter opened the door, this car came and hit the door that was opened. This car wasn't supposed to be passing by us in the drop off lane!. We took pictures of the separate lane system in hotel and still our insurance company said that we are at fault because "we opened the door on an on-coming vehicle". But as per our understanding the other vehicle shouldn't have been there at all and they shouldn't have been trying to pass our vehicle as we were at the drop off. Pls advice. Is there any use of disputing this?
