Last month my fiance was driving down a busy road when the car in front braked suddenly. He braked in time, however the car behind rear shunted us. The rear shunt propelled our car forward into the car in front. All 3 cars stopped and exchanged details. Our car was hauled off and the damage so bad it was written off.:(
I thought it was an open and shut insurance case but the driver who rear ended us, is now claiming my fiance was changing lanes and claims she has two witnesses! She is also now counter claiming on her insurance. Needless to say I am fuming.
Unfortunately my fiance has only one grainy photo of her car crashed into the back of his. But just wanted advice, would any accident report show the impact of the crash? Would the damage on the cars indicate who went into the back of whom? How long can these processes take?
I am stressing about this with a wedding coming up too, and any help on lines we can take would be appreciated.
