Insignia being dodgy

Hi,
New to this forum, was hoping somebody could help me my insignia feels very different. I'm not very mechanically minded so will describe best I can.. I 1st got it from a dealership on finance with a 3 month warranty. When I drove it home it felt like it had no power, but having 3 kids job etc life was busy n I couldn't phone the dealership till after weekend Monday as I thought it also had no oil yet it was stated to of been serviced before I purchase it. So I rang the dealership who was very helpful and they told me to bring it in. The next time I drove it the car felt fine. Computer said the oil was full so I left visiting the dealership and drove it for a while after a few weeks it started to feel different, a constant noise. Sort of like a squeal, and when I turned the key all the way but didn't start the car the engine management light would stay on. I didn't know if this was normal but rang the dealership anyway who told me to bring it in which I did. They had it for an hour and gave it me back saying it was a glow plug or something to that effect. Yet when I got back in the car it still had the engine management light on when turned but not started. When I started it the engine management light would go off so I thought no more of it. At the moment the car will not rev past 3000 revs at a standstill but will when moving. I know the breaks must be going cause they squeak from time to Time.... Anybody know what's going on sorry it's long winded but I have to do a 500 mile trip n I know I can't afford it being repaired this close to Christmas. My warranty would of ended 1-2 months ago I've had the car for about 4-5 months...thanks for any advice
