Land Rover - Freelander - 2.0 diesel Y reg. 2001
Every so often my Freelander will not start. Diagnostic check shows In-tank Fuel Pump as the problem. I have had 5/6 pumps on this vehicle and it still keeps doing it.
Saving the best til last...when it doesn't start I have to wait 45 minutes, then I go back to it and it starts first time, anything less than 45 minutes, it isn't interested.
It does it in winter and summer so temperature is not an issue as suggested by others. I have changed sensors to no avail.
