I had an accident last Monday involving myself and 1 other car. I was driving down a street overtaking some parked cars and a lady pulled out in front of me from a side road. I beeped to try and alert her that i was there and she braked and stopped in the middle of the road. I went into the back of her and my car was written off, her car sustained very little damage at all. My question is will I be found liable for this even though she pulled out in front of me? The collision happened about 1.5 metres from the junction she pulled out of. I was travelling at about 15mph and my airbags weren't deployed.
I have called my insurers to see if there was any progress, but because we are both insured with the same company I fear they may drag their heels a bit and not want to fight my case.
Any advice on the subject would be greatly appreciated.
