I hope somebody can offer some advice as I am completely puzzled.
In July I had an accident on a motorway when a woman ran into my back (she didn't brake in time when everything in front of me suddenly came to a halt). I received physiotherapy because I was suffering from whiplash, still suffer from anxiety.
After 5 month her company is coming back to my company claiming that I am at fault because I was changing a lane when it happened. The fact is that I had changed a lane shortly before the incident and was already established in the lane.
A month later, which is today my company is calling me that she is making a claim for personal injury saying that I am at fault.
My solicitor is now mentioning splitting the blame etc.
How can this be my fault? And what steps can I take not to be blamed for this? When it was completely not my fault.
