Wondering of anyone can give me any advice, last week my car developed a fault where the main lights wouldn't work and I took it back to the Fiat dealer where I bought it, unfortunately it wa outside of the warranty and after running a check on it they told me they'd need to order a part which they did and the cost would be £246.
I then took the car in to get it fitted 2 days later and after fitting the lights still wouldn't work and now after another check they want another £495 on top of the £246 they've already quoted.
What are my rights as surely I'm not entitled to pay the £246 as that work didn't fix the problem.
Any help in this would be greatly appreciated as it's my elderley parents car and they won't complain to the garage.
