Lexus IS 220D

Hi,

I bought a Lexus IS 220D 2006 yesterday.
I am having a weird problem with the automatic headlights. When I set headlights to automatic and turn on then engine lights turned on, makes perfect sense but on switching off the engine lights remains turned on and I have to manually turned them off.
Anyone has any idea about this, what could be the problem?
