HI, I have a Ford fiesta 1.4 tdci, just had MOT done and explained that when I get to around 50mph I can hear an intermittent humming noise (not constant) it's there going straight, goes completely when turning left even a little bit, is there but slightly quite when turning right, I said to check my wheel bearings they did and said there was nothing wrong with them, I asked them to check again as I'm sure I felt play on my drivers side wheel, when I picked the car up it had needed new steering arm and that was done, again was told bearings were fine, the mechanic said it could of been that causing the vibration, fast forward to driving on the dual carriage way, noise still there, I had new tyres fitted and Balanced back in september, tracking was done with new steering arm, I just cant thinking what could be causing it, any info would be good, car has done 93k miles, always been serviced.
Cheers jack
