I bought car insurance via TempCover, which then went through Markerstudy. Before buying it I spoke to a advisor who advised me that I could drive in Spain with this insurance.
So I then got the ferry to Spain the next day (with insurance) and got shunted from behind about 5 miles into driving.
After I got home I spoke to both Markerstudy and Tempcover, first of all they were nice and asked me about it so I explained. Then they became very dishonest and started pushing the blame onto each other, Stating that it was the other persons responsibility to handle the claim.
At first Markerstudy said I had no insurance for EU, After a while they stated I had 3rd party in EU. Although they would only deal with me if I was fully comprehensive...
So then I asked who can deal with this, they pretty much brushed it off and refuse to help us.
What can we do?
