Today we broke down in Swansea and the car refused to start so we had to call the RAC. The services we received from every member of staff we had contact with was impressive. A lovely switched on lady took my call and helpe us to locate exactly where we were as we didn't have a postcode. They called again with a timing update for the breakdown guy would arrive, then he called again as he pulled into the parking area to help locate our vehicle. David was our breakdown recovery guy today and he was on of the loveliest people I have ever met. He was incredibly knowledgeable having been in the industry for a number of years. He was also fantastic at talking us through the mechanical side of things as he worked through to finding the problem. He managed to locate the problem to th 'in tank' fuel pump and after a bit of rough and tumble with a hammer got it working and the car started. Not convinced that the issue would arrive on the way home he then followed us down the road and very shortly it died again. So then we were hooked up to the bar and off the went to euro car parts who had the part of needed on T shelf, and it wa fitted on on forecourt and we were on our way home. Throughout our breakdown the service was exceptional, knowledgeable, educational and a thoroughly present breakdown despite the inconvenience or actually breaking down I the first place!
