Hi I have 04 Renault Megaune Saloon 97000 miles it has been a reliable car until today!
Car started fine this morning and drove to school and when I came back to my car it started but then cut out within seconds started again and did the same so third time started and was able to pull away straight away and it was fine. But then slowing down to a junction it cut out, idle is sitting at around 700 and feels like bite point is higher than normal?
It was only in last week for MOT new tracking rod ends, rear coils and a light bulb replaced.
Since it came back I can't put windows down without keeping finger on button whereas before you pressed once it went all the way down.
A friend has been around with code reader and no faults detected.
Tried starting car on drive 2 times it cut out after seconds then 3rd time revered the car to 3000 and engine stayed on whilst idle
I believe the battery needs replaced indicator is black and have had a few problems with radio and lights on sitting in the car with no engine on and then the car needs jump started but would the battery cause the car to cut out like it is?
