Hi Guys
I am hoping someone can offer some help after my sister has had nothing but problems after an accident.
The accident was on the M25. The traffic was at a stand still, when she witnessed a lorry hurtling towards the traffic in her rear view mirror, so she attempted to maneuver out of the way, but realized she couldn't, the lorry hit a stationary lorry that then hit an additional car before the car behind hit her, she slammed on brakes to avoid hitting the car in front.
Since the accident, she has had nothing but problems, including a gear box issue.
Could anyone advise whether the problem with the gear box could have been a result of the accident, taking in to account, the car was in gear as she was braking as well as being shunted? She has been advised that the gear box was not damaged on the outside, but could the above action have caused an internal issue?
The car is a 2013 plate Focus with 55,000 miles on the clock, which never had any problems before the accident.
Any help is much appreciated
