I,m new to this but had to tell you of my predicament.In April I bought a iand rover discovery with a full 12 month MOT from a local dealer in Swansea.Five months later i needed a repair to be carried out by my my local trusted garage.On picking up my car the garage owner said I had better look under the car as there was severe rust to the chassis(severe meaning rusted through)I immediately contacted the garage but had every excuse under the sun not to meet with me .At this moment in time the MOT station has been reported to VOSA.Nd I am awaiting response of seller before referring matter to trading standards.Will keep you updated.
