My son purchsed a sceondhand car from a dealer yesterday which broke down when he drove home from work last night managed to get it back to the dealer today and my nephew whos a trained mechanic managed to look at it yesterday and there are engine problems ,,the dealer says the clutch has burnt out from my son as a first time drivers driving and has refused a refund but surely the clutch should have lasted more than six hours wether my sons driving is to blame or not also the reason the clutch was burnt out was because of him having to give the clutch some hammer to get it back to the dealer because of an engine problem. I dont think selling a car thats been used for six hours is selling an item fit for purpose ??? Please help
