Brilliant service, very impressed

My cars cover got stuck preventing me from being able to get to the fuel cap. Despite trying to sort this myself unsuccessfully I reluctantly gave in and called Rac to use my breakdown cover as otherwise I couldn't get any fuel into my vehicle to get to work.

The phone was answered promptly and the person I spoke to was polite. They advised it would be around 2 and a half hours as it was very busy.(it was raining heavily and there were floods)

A short while later I got a call from the rac employee who was on patrol - "Luke 5003" who advised me he was en route to me and would be about 10 minutes. This was well before the time I expected from the initial call which was great.

"Luke 5003" then arrived within the 10 minutes and was very polite. He listened to me explaining the problem and then got right on with trying to fix it for me while also talking me through what he was doing. He managed to sort theoroblem in no time and gave me advice for resolving the problem long term also which was brilliant.

"Luke 5003" was absolutely brilliant. I asked him what time he finished and he explained he was meant to finish earlier however had been told they were very busy so offered to stay on. He wa still smiling and polite despite having already completed a full day of work in terrible weather.

This is the first time I have ever used RAC and due to what a high level of customer service I received today I will always be a member and recommended them to others.

If an Rac employee is reading this please pass on my thanks and positive feedback to Luke as people don't often get feedback for doing something Verywell! If you have an employee of the month nominations thing - I would like to recommend him for that! Breakdown no#S916PE727
