Hi, I have a 2006 Ford Focus 1.6 TDi Estate that I think has a problem. When i get to 3rd gear and the Turbo should kick in (around 2000 rpm) it is sluggish then kicks through leaving white smoke behind, albeit a thin cloud but visible non the less. This seems to happen with each step up in gear from here whenever the Turbo should kick in.
I've checked the coolant and its not leaking which hopefully means its not the head gasket, what else could it be? I can't get to the garage until the weekend and need the car to get to work (70 mile round trip each day). Hopefully someone can give me reassurance it's nothing major.
