Hey guys,
I am looking to buy a Vauxhall Astra and have found a vehicle which looks just right-Sat Nav, diesel, all the things I wanted, however it is a Cat D vehicle.
The dealer has explained that there was a significant dent in the drivers door and the entire door has been replaced.
The car has a value of £7000 on the auto trader valuation website but the dealer has put a price of 6250 before haggling.
I wanted to know what your opinions are about buying a Cat D car in terms of whether it would affect the re-sell price or the insurance hugely?
I really appreciate any advice you can give me. :)
