On the 12/07 I hit a pothole and was stranded roadside because I only had an inflation kit. I was collected from the side of the road and taken home all within 90mins.
The following day a patrol came to take me to the tyre centre as the previous day they were only able to send a flat bed. The patrol that arrived was fantastic. He tried to repair the tyre but couldn't so he fit a temporary wheel and followed me all the way to the tyre centre. All this whilst crawling around on a wet floor in horrendous rain.

He has renewed my dwindling faith in the RAC.
