HI Folks,
I am new to the board ,but been an RAC member for many years and didn't know this forum was here.
I have recently bought a Mondeo TDCI 2.0 2011 with 53,000 miles on the clock from a local Ford dealer ,I have noticed an odd noise from the engine area on tickover ,it can be heard from inside the car and outside when standing at the front driver's side wheel,I have been back twice with other problems which have been sorted but they tell me this noise is normal,one mechanic even said he could not hear hear any noise.
I have had many diesel mondeos over the years and my last mondeo had done 130,000 miles and it was quieter than this engine. I am not sure if it is a belt tensioner or a power steering pump noise,I was wondering if anyone else has had any issues of this nature.
