I was working for a company a few years back whilst driving their work truck approaching a roundabout the car in front of me slammed their brakes on and I wasn't quick enough and bumped into them, it was a broken number plate and a few scratches on the bumper, they claimed through my work insurance policy and that was the end of it until today I'm now due for renewal and getting quotes and have to give them the information and the details of the accident as it was less than 5 years ago, my memory is no good and I can't even remember what nth it was in let alone the date, is there any sort of insurance accident database where this would have been recorded as I can't sort my insurance out until I've got this date the admin person at the old company is on holiday for two weeks so I'm really stuck at the min.... I'm also guessing this makes my current insurance void as I never informed them, I assumed as it was a work insurance I never needed to.
