Hiya,
I wonder if any of you kind folks can advise someone who knows absolutely nothing about cars? I'm not even a driver!
Anyway, the front passenger side tyre on my partners car (a Skoda Fabia, 11 years old, owned for 3 years) seems to be losing pressure. I noticed it seemed a bit flat a while ago, got partner to check at Sainsburys and it was 15psi. Topped it up with air to 28 or 29psi and off we went. This was at least a month ago. Then yesterday I saw it had a little bulge low down on the tyre again, so today we went to Sainsburys and it was 15psi again, so again we topped it up.
At first I thought it was a one time deal, but the fact it has happened again worries me.
It wouldn't be such a major issue if it weren't for the fact that we're going on holiday Wednesday, driving 2.5 hours to the Peak District. It's our only trip away this year and I really don't want to cancel.
So my question is, is it safe? What should I do? I literally know nothing about cars and I have no tools or anything to look closer, although the tyre looks "okay" to a complete layman like me.
Any help so greatly appreciated!
