Been toing and froing on this one all day. This morning approaching a roundabout, I changed lanes but not before a motorcyclist clearly thought I was too close to him (although I didn't even cut him up and went back into my lane before changing again) so he slowed down and stopped in front of my car not allowing me to move. Baring in mind, Central London on Saturday it was starting to creat a problem for traffic. After a few non politely exchanged words, he turned his engine off and refused to move as some kind of protest to frustrate me. Which clearly worked, because I needed to get to work so I put the car full lock on left turn to move round him. Clearly he left no room for my car because as I just started to move he shouted I was now touching his bike and started taking photos of my plates. So we both agreed to pull up round the corner and investigate. After both examining his motorcycle it was agreed that no damage had occurred. In fact his exact words were 'you're lucky you didn't scratch my bike'. He even apologised for blocking me. He did however want an apology from me, which I refused to give. This seemed to irritate him. Neither of us asked for contact details of the other person as it was decided there was no damage. As we both decided not to ask for details to be exchanged, I am now concerned he may report the situation and I may be looking at a failure to stop & report if I don't do the same by tomorrow morning. My understanding is that if there was no injury or damage noted, there is no reason to report or exchange details?
