I bought a 2003 A6 Avant 2.5TDi(4BC5) back in march 2010 with 139,000 miles. Checking the service history the cambelt was changed Feb 2006 @ 78,000 & again in Nov 2009 @135,000. I have put 21,000 miles on it in 5 years(4,200 miles per year). It gets an oil & filter(oil,air & pollen) change every year with the fuel filter replaced every 2 years. The Service schedule book that came with the car states cambelt change every 80,000 miles but no time interval. I have read differing intervals on other forums on when it should be changed. Some say 60,000/5 years others 80,000/5 years & even 80,000/8 years. Does anybody know the correct one?? I been told that the whole front of the car has to come off to do it? Thanks Andy
