New Coil Pack - quality issues? Clio 1.2 T Reg

Hello

I've tried getting answers from another forum but not getting to solving my issue so thought I would try here!

I would like to know if anyone can tell me if the quality of a coil pack with four leads type can vary in how well they work ? I'm battling a vibration / poor idling issue and all I keep coming back to is that it seemed to occur when it went to garage for a misfire and they changed the coil pack and leads (for a cheapo one at my request!). I don't recall having this vibrating and poor idle before so I'm trying to figure out if cheap coil packs can be basically a load of rubbish and cause problems like I'm experiencing?!
I am hoping to try things here and there so long as it's relatively cheap and in my rather limited capabilities!

I'm at a loss and this issue is going on and on. The garage wouldn't acknowledge any issues and so I can't keep going back for looking stupid plus it'll more than likely end up costing too much.

It's had a number of things done recently under the bonnet such as - new battery, tdc sensor (back end of last year) then recently (past few months) during the misfire issue had the coil pack and leads, oil change, new tyres, spark plugs, cleaned up some of the electrical parts and connectors etc. Oh and it had a new dog leg mount (?) done.

I got a second hand coil pack and leads a month ago which turned out to be wrong as the electrical connector part was slightly different so was only able to try out the Renault leads from it! Today I tried new spark plugs again to eliminate that and that didn't seem to do anything.

So basically idling/slowing to a stop is causing vibration and rev counter is erratic when stopped and seems uneasy!

My questioning of the coil pack is because all I keep coming back to is this seemed to become a problem when it went to the garage for the misfire. I could be wrong but I seem to think it wasn't like this before - It's an old car, sure and things are a bit stiff or not super slick but it wasn't anything like this before! It's really annoying me and my minimal mechanic skills are not solving it! I kind of wish i'd never taken it in to have sorted as i've come out with a much more irritating issue!

I'm at the point now where i'm wondering if getting a new coil pack (minus the leads) is worth doing - i've considered 2 makes my local spares shop have - a Cambiare or NGK. I want to know if i'm wasting my time and money with it or if there is a chance a better brand one would sort my issues? The new one I had put on was a Euro******** aftermarket unbranded cheap one.

Sorry for going on a bit here too and I hope i've given enough info

Hope someone can help shed some light on any of this!
Thanks

Ps it's a clio 1.2 8v T reg petrol.
