Evening All,
ill be as brief as i can....
My recently deceased father has left a car in his estate in France. Its a UK bought (2nd hand so no VAT) car currently on French plates and i have the french log book.
Out of the documentation i have found i have a photocopy of the original V5 logbook and reg, and when i called the DVLA to see if it had been exported they said it hadn't.
Now how do i go about bringing it back to the UK?
the V5 is in his name, so do i just do a change of details and get a new log book and put the UK plates back on it? or do i have to go the whole NOVA and re-registering route? I'm mindful that if i do they may start asking why it wasn't SORN'd?
Any help is appreciated
thanks
