I had a car accident Friday, I was driving my partners car. I'm fully comp but not a named driver and don't have legal expenses! I was cut out off car and rushed to hospital. Car was tacked by police under a section 99 road accident. The car has not been realised as pending police enquiry. Ie awaiting there impression from accident for insurers.
I rang them today they are still completing there enquiry but there is some evidence he cut into my path to take junction to take exit. His car has impact near side quartre panel!
Let me get bk to the accident I was driving down my straight path and the other side the drivers were driving opposite direction, a car all of a sudden turned In to my path to take junction I was unable to slow down or even stop I was going 50 mph which was the speed limit l after my car smashed into him I just remember a sudden impact then my car spinned.
I have bad seat belt bruising wiplash and PTSD and a mess tbh nicest way off putting it is he has made me a nervous mess.
He has claimed to his insurers I swivered into him. And then also stated I didn't have my lights on ( it was 7.40 am and light. He has also said his visability was low due to a lorry in front of him and the rain.
I am confussed as if he turned into my path and by his damage would he not be liable. Would be gratefull for any help
