Help!
I have just bought a 2010 micra N tec. My daughter was driving it home and it cut out at the traffic lights. The engine wouldn't start again. I managed to get to her and the first thing I tried was push it and bump start in second and third. Nothing wouldn't start. When you try the ignition switch the dash died as if it were a flat battery and the engine won't turn over as if we're dead. However I could tell the battery was ok because everything else was ok.
The RAC came out and and said the engine was locked or seized up. The oil was good and there's no reason why that we can think of.
The cars got 4 dealers stamps 34k on the clock. It's only done 1300 miles since its last nissan service.
The cars been taken to nissan it's nearly 5 years old and we are petrified in case it's a timing chain and the damage that could be caused.
has anyone had this happen to them or come across the same fault?
