I've got a Ford Focus Sport TCDI, 2006 model
A month of so ago I was trying to pull away in the car and the clutch pedal was pushed down but wouldn't come back up. It stayed down and so locked it up and left the car.
A few hours later I returned to the car and the pedal has came back up! - it seemed to drive ok, so got it checked out at the garage and they added some brake fluid and said there was nothing wrong with it!
earlier today I drove to work, approached a roundabout and pressed the clutch, however the pedal again stayed down and won't come back up. I have tried to pull it up and the pedal physically does come up but doesn't allow me to put in gear.
I believe there's no clutch cable on the Focus so obviously that's not the issue.. I thought maybe blast the pedal with WD40 but think it may be something more serious that just a sticky pedal.
Help!!
