If someone is banned from driving before even having any type of driving licence, once the ban is up and they have passed their test and got their driving licence, do they have to declare the ban when taking out insurance. As the paper part of the driving license is completely clear and has no ban on it. Also on the direct gov website I have entered their NINO and driving licence number and it says 'no bans or disqualifications' & 'No points on license' so if it isnt declared on the license or on the direct gov website do you have to declare it to the insurance??
