We have an old Clio 1.2 Grande and are having problems with the passenger side electric window. Have exposed all of the cables behind the internal door panel and there are two wires coming from the window motor. (One grey and one brown). Initially when operating the window switch, nothing happens, but if I swap over the spade connectors for these two wires, the window will go up. To get the window to go down again I have to swap these two connectors over again. This only works with the switch on the passenger side. The passenger window cannot be operated at all using the switch on the drivers side as nothing happens. I have replaced the switches, but still have the same problem. I've made a few enquiries and it looks as if the window motor and regulator have been fitted a few years ago, hence the spade connectors. Not sure what to do. Any help would be appreciated.
