My name is Julia and I currently live in Cambridge which is the place where I've done my theory test and all my driving tests.
This week I failed my 3rd attempt due to a silly fault... l was driving on a road of 30mph but I guess my car was going at 35mph because the sun was dazzling me and I couldn't see the speedometer and not even the road but (silly me) I started to slow down too late so that's why the test wasn't a success but anyways I'm feeling really confident and ready to do driving test asap.
During the time between my second attempt and until I attended my third driving test it's been a long time. I didn't practice in a while since my second test and after that I had to do more lessons to practice and to be more confident again with the car so currently after practicing all this period, I'm feeling more confident than ever to pass the test.
The problem I have is that next test in my local area is in 16 weeks and it's frustrating because it means the waiting time is until June due there is a huge demand in the city but I wouldn't wish to wait until then because I'd like to do the driving test asap, so I was wondering if anyone knows if I can do the test in another city like Ipswich or Chelmsford which have tests available in a short period of time? Although I'm not living there, is there any inconvenient in changing the local area for the driving test? Did anyone do the driving test in those areas? In any case, I have no inconvenient in travelling to another city to do the test but I'm a little bit scared because I saw that the practical car pass rates on these cities are lower that in Cambridge but I think at least I have to try it!
