Citroen C2 none start

Hi there, after a little help, ive bought a Citroen c2 1.1 which I got to repair and sell, anyways I thought I'd ask around on here incase any of you had come across a common fault with these. It won't start and the codes im currently getting are "Ignition coil a primary/secondary malfunction" and "ignition coil b primary/secondary circuit malfunction" now I'm getting these just turning the engine over as ive deleted and they come back. It does sound like it's got no compression however I'm getting the compression tester from work tomorrow, it's not snapped the timing belt though that's on and turning. It looks fairly new which makes me think the last owner put it on hoping it's not bent any valves and it maybe has. Again I'm gonna get into it tomorrow.
In the meantime if anyone's come across these faults before then that's a great help in hoping it's not an ecu as I don't believe these are too common on this model?
