On Friday of last week I purchased a 52 plate jeep Cherokee after rolling my car over the day before in bad weather. I found a local dealer in auto trader and found a car with average miles advertised (95,550 miles)... I went a looked at it..made an offer and bought it. I drove it home with the trip miles showing in the LED dashboard and on further inspection it now transpires that the actual milage is 123000, a lot more than advertised. Can I demand a refund and return the car? The car has a 3 month RAC membership included if that makes any difference.
