When I had opened the car door; some sudden ice fell into the car,hinge and check strap Concerned if it will damage the check strap or hinge

This morning when I opened the car door, some ice dropped into the car and some into the hinge/on top of the check strap area.

I closed the door and heard the noise of ice breaking so I am concerned if it will damage the check strap/hinge or door components after closing it.

I just recently bought the car and its a vauxhall astra 2008
