I need some help and advice regarding the roundabout outside Tredegar Park. I've just moved to the area and have to use this roundabout several times a week. I've been driving for over 10 years and have never been so confused or had so many near misses at the junction with Southern Distributor Road heading towards Cardiff Rd (Newport).
As you approach the traffic lights at the Southern Distributor exit of the roundabout it seems that some drivers in the middle lane cut right across to exit, even though there are three lanes to continue around the roundabout. I've had several close encounters with drivers cutting me up. It's happened far too many times now so I'd keen to find out if it is my mistakes or the poor road markings.
Is anybody else familiar with this roundabout?
