Hi all hoping someone can help me with a problem I am having with my car at the moment, I am sure it as probably been covered by someone before else where but I haven't found a definite answer.
I have a ford focus 1.6 zetec se mk1 2002, which seems to have lost all power nothing seems to clear it E.g restarting engine, Resetting ECU through battery pull. Up to know I have replaced: Coil pack, HT leads, Spark plugs, MAP sensor. I don't know what else could be causing this problem due to the fact there is no lights on the dashboard nor is there any DTC stored.
The loss of power gets worse as the engine reaches operating temp (which seems strange) when the car is first started from cold all is good I have full power that should be there until a few mile up the road when cars reached operating temp.
Not sure if it could be related but when the fuel tank gets below 1/4 of a tank the car will be un drivable E.g can not accelerate at all, car will scrawl until you top it up back above 1/4 of a tank.
