Hi

I got question, I read a lot bad words about rac insurance and about famous terms and condition regarding parts which are broke or worn out.
On higher mileage cars as far as I read, it covers only what is in the papers.

Can some explain the diffrence, for example I want to buy car 2011, 60.000-70.000 mileage. Diesel

Fly wheel /clutch will gone, is it classified as worn or broken ??. Sytuation when I put my foot down and I will not be able to change gear??

What about turbo, gearbox etc.

Every single part of the car can be classifed as worn, not broken....

When my car brake down, (clutch, turbo) while I am on the drive way (at home), and without full breakdown cover (the one which covers you at home). When you are on the road, you can call rac, rac employee will check car, fill paper work and take that car to the garage.
In such sytuation, should not be hard to put claim isnt ??

However how can I proofe for RAC, in such sytuation without calling breakdown cover,as it may not cover you at home, and you need to be xxx away from home...
Shell I push the car away from home to avoid problems when I claim ??

The AA does not make any problems, but the car I want to buy is from RAC approved dealer. What shell I check?? Any advise will be welcome.

Regards
Martin
