I am planning to buy Lexus rx450h for my social purpose. I am based in London I usually drive in the morning to drop my son to school(1mile) and evening shopping to local tesco/ASDA (6miles once or twice a week)and weekend may be 20 to 50miles. Somebody said that hybrid is no use to me other than killing the battery as it won't get charged much. What is your opinion, please help. Do I need to go to X5 or similar gas/diesel engines than hybrid?
